MISSION
The mission of Newport Christian School is to provide a distinctively Christian education where everyone is challenged academically and encouraged to follow the Bible as a reference on all matters of morality, character, and personal responsibility.
OUR PURPOSE
Since the founding of Newport Christian School in 1980 as a ministry of Liberty Baptist Church, our philosophy has been defined through a threefold mission: spiritual, academic, and community. Although each aspect is distinct from the others, they are all dependent to a central, unified mission.
Newport Christian School’s educational program is committed to developing young men and women who will put their faith into practice throughout their entire lives. Our intention is to educate children to take their place in their local communities, wherever they may be, and become leaders and agents of change that point their communities to Christ.
