ENROLLMENT CHECKLIST

NEW U.S.-RESIDENT STUDENTS

The application process must be completed before beginning the enrollment process.
Newport Christian School uses Smart Tuition to process payments to the school. Families can enroll online at www.enrollwithsmart.com or by clicking here.

After registering with Smart Tuition, search for Newport Christian School and follow the prompts to gain access to the payment portal.

All families must be signed up for Kid Check by visiting go.kidcheck.com or by downloading the KidCheck app on your iOS or Android device.

Kid Check is used by Newport Christian School as a Daycare/Emergency contact system. Whether students are in NCS’s daycare program or not, every student must be signed up. This allows the school to contact families immediately in case of an emergency.

Complete the Request for Student Cumulative Records form and send it to Newport Christian School’s office or email it to contact@newportchristianschool.org. Do not send it to the student’s previous or current school.
Newport Christian School is required to retain a copy of all students’ immunization records.

Immunizations must be up to date before starting school. For more information on immunization requirements at Newport Christian School and the State of California, please visit our Campus Safety page.

Provide a copy of the student’s immunization records to the school’s office in person or by emailing a scanned copy to contact@newportchristianschool.org.

Applicable to only those students entering Kindergarten or the First Grade.

Newport Christian School must receive a physical examination certificate from a licensed physician within 18 months prior to the beginning of the school year. The student’s physician or family may provide it either in person to the school’s office or by emailing contact@newportchristianschool.org.

Submit a copy or scan of the student’s birth certificate to Newport Christian School’s office in person or by email at contact@newportchristianschool.org.
For those on the monthly payment plan, the first payments begin on August 15. For those on the annual payment plan, tuition fees are due on August 20.
Reach out to the main office at contact@newportchristianschool.org to receive information on what to prepare for the first day of school.
The student and at least one parent or listed guardian must attend the annual Back to School Night. Additional information will be provided.

NEW INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS

The application process for international students must be completed before beginning the enrollment process.
Request and email the completed Guardian Designation Form to contact@newportchristianschool.org.
Request and email the completed Guardian Agreement Form to contact@newportchristianschool.org.
Newport Christian School is required to retain a copy of all students’ immunization records.

Immunizations must be up to date before starting school. For more information on immunization requirements at Newport Christian School and the State of California, please visit our Campus Safety page.

Provide a copy of the student’s immunization records to the school’s office in person or by emailing a scanned copy to contact@newportchristianschool.org.

All new students and those entering Kindergarten must present test results from Chancy & Bruce.

Contact the Chancy and Bruce Testing Center at (714) 841-1257 or via their website (link) to schedule a test. After taking the test, forward the results to Newport Christian School at contact@newportchristianschool.org along with the parent/guardian and student’s information.

All tuition and fees are due by August 19.
Applicable to only those students who are transferring from a school in the United States

Complete the Request for Student Cumulative Records form and send it to Newport Christian School’s office or email it to contact@newportchristianschool.org. Do not send it to the student’s previous or current school.

Provide proof of health insurance coverage to contact@newportchristianschool.org.
Complete and return the Statement of Commitment Form to the main office in person or by emailing a scanned copy to contact@newportchristianschool.org. The Statement of Commitment form can be found here.
Reach out to the main office at contact@newportchristianschool.org to receive information on what to prepare for the first day of school.
The student and at least one parent or listed guardian must attend the annual Back to School Night. Additional information will be provided.

* Any forms or documents that are submitted during the enrollment process must include a copy of the original document and a notarized English translation.


RETURNING STUDENTS

Newport Christian School is required to retain an up-to-date copy of all students’ immunization records.

For students returning for the following grades, updated immunizations are required:

  • Transitional Kindergarten
  • Kindergarten
  • 7th Grade

Provide a copy of the student’s immunization records to the school’s office in person or by emailing a scanned copy to contact@newportchristianschool.org.
