An Opening Day with New Records

Newport Christian School rolled out the red carpet again to mark the beginning of a new school year on September 6. The 2017-18 student body is the school’s largest in history at 186 students, 60 of them newly enrolled. The year also brings us closer to our goal of establishing a complete grade school with a Christian curriculum, as NCS welcomed its first 10th grade class.

Athletic Department Gets A New Director

Only four years after opening our gymnasium, we’re proud to welcome our new Athletic Director, Terrell Thorogood.

Terrell comes from Lancaster Baptist School in Lancaster, California, where he previously served as the Athletic Director. At Newport Christian, Terrell will oversee the development of our sports programs such as Football, Basketball, and Volleyball, making it an essence of the Seahawk experience.
